Written
and devised by Sarah Miller and Drama Queens Women’s
Performance Group
Drama
Queens was a project for women which began life in 2006
as a series of workshops on the theme of 'escape'.
Sidetracked
was the result of those workshops, with the characters,
scenarios and words from the workshops being pulled together
into a script by Sarah Miller.

Belinda, ex-con and red blooded biker chick is running from
her past . . . trouble is she’s got her nervous spinster
neighbour in tow and the getaway vehicle is an ancient motor-bike
and sidecar. Still, it’s all in control until they
meet the minibus from ‘Startrite in the Community’

Sidetracked is the
hilarious story of wild women and disastrous camping featuring
a pagan naming ceremony, and lots of cow-muck.
Thelma and Louise never had these problems!
Devised and performed by Drama Queens, The Ashton Group’s
Theatre Factory performance group for women.
