Young people aged between 16 and 21 living in Allerdale, Copeland or Furness were invited to enter our playwriting competition for young people

Stage 1
They were invited to come to a workshop with writers Sarah Miller and Ann Wilson to see how the professionals do it, try out ideas and make a start

Stage 2
They got involved with the online support to develop their ideas with the writers

Stage 3
They pitched their script idea for selection

What happened then?
10 scripts were chosen for development, and out of those 10 came 3 winners who each received a prize of £500.
