Written by Jamie Cubiss from Barrow-in-Furness, the second of 3 winners of our New Lines playwriting competition
There’s a rip in space and time somewhere near Duke Street. The old Gods are struggling to fix it using Polyfilla and No-nails. 'So, what’s gonna happen?’
‘There’s a 40% chance that nothing will happen, 30% chance that 2 universes may merge into 1, there’s a 20% chance that everyone in the entire multiverse will get superpowers, and 15% chance of complete multiversial destruction. That’s what the statistics say anyway.’
Meanwhile at street level, 2 young people are falling in love across the gaping hole.
